What is Sally?
Sally = Sally Hanson Hard as Nails. It’s a clear finger nail polish. Used by many as a substitute for traditional head cement.
You can find it in most big box stores in the cosmetics department. Target for example. Great stuff!

I’ve tied some Mosquito soft hackles using the 1 Light 1 Dark Moose mane body. Never could get them to last more than a couple fish. Can’t remember if I ever tried brushing some SHHAN over the Moose mane. Nowadays, I use UV resin for a lot of stuff. I wonder if that would work as well, or better?

I have been doing a little research, there is UV & LED activated finger nail polish also. But, it’s not that easy to find.
It may be easier than you think. I have witnessed my wife holding her hands under a blue light (UV assumed) in the nail shop after they apply the polish. Other women go through the same process. It must be expensive given her bill.
