A POINT FOR CABELAS

Ive never had to send anything to Cabelas for a refund until two weeks ago and I have to say Im impressed.

A few weeks ago I had sent them a pair of waist high breathables that were 2 years old that had started to leak. I just received a phone call from them saying that they are refunding my money with a gift certificate in the amount of the waders. I really didnt think that they would accomodate my situation like this. So I would have to say hats off to their customer service department for a great job.

they have never been anything but totally accomodating and friendly with me in all transactions.

I’ve experienced poor service at the cabelas in Dundee, MI, and can say that it isin’t my favorite store to shop at. However there are some good deals for the patient customer.

Adam, I would call their 800 number for customer service and tell them what happened.

I have always had great service from them.

I just had the same type of experience Monday night here at the KC store. I had a pair of workboots that i bought there 4 months ago. The air/gel pocket in the heel had blown out and all I wanted to do was buy an identical pair. I walked out with a brand new pair on my feet 25 minutes later. A++++

When you are the bigest tourist attraction in Michigan what would you expect? It may be just growing pains right now. Get the staff up to speed, etc. I’ve been there twice and they where as overwhelmed as I was!!

I bought a pair of Cabelas waders and a lady (about my age) in her late 50’s came up to help me. I just decided I needed a pair of winter neoprene’s. I have never had such knowagable, kind and helpful service in all my day. I sware, I wasn’t leaving unless she was satisfied my waders fit (perfect) and I understood every faucet of how and why regarding the product. I just kept my mouth open in awe that a person was so concerned about my investment in their product. She knew more about the ends and outs of waders than a manufactuer I am sure. I have used their mail order and visited their store in Hamburg, PA. I have had nothing but good success dealing with them. I also had a pair of leaky waders that were replaced promptly, and my shipping charges were refunded as well. Based on my experience, a good company to do business with.

Hi folks, the Cabelas store is a new thing for us here in Arizona, but I have to say that they have been wonderful to deal with. The place is huge and has hundreds of displays. The fly shop is manned by actual fisherman who really know thier stuff. I always arrive amazed and leave broke.
