I have always been frustrated by the high prices charged for fluorocarbon leaders, so when I saw a great sale on them, i went crazy and bought a lot of them. It turns out that I will never be able to use all that I bought, so I want to sell a few of them at the same sale price that I found so irresistible. All of them are 9ft 5x and they are in their original unopened packages. I will pay for shipping and paypal fees for any orders totaling $25 or over. Smaller orders will carry a $2 surcharge to cover these expenses. Here’s what I have:

Do you find an advantage to FC leaders as opposed to just fastening fc tippet to regular leaders?
There are some advantages that I see:
- I have read that when tying fluoro to mono, the different physical properties cause the fluoro to "cut’ the mono, making the knot less secure. This may be obviated by using a tippet ring between the mono and the fluoro.
- Fluoro does not degrade like mono does after a couple of years. This means that it can be stored and used for a decade or more, unlike mono that becomes brittle after 2 or 3 years.
- Fluoro is more abrasion resistant than mono. Of course, using a fluoro tippet may provide an abrasion benefit without using a full fluoro tippet.
