Just had a little free time today so getting around to posting a few rods that were finished over the past week. This one is a 9’ 5wt 4pc with Buckeye burl insert and matching grip, Nickle Silver hardware, double foot snake guides, dark green wraps with two turns of metallic gold trim, and epoxy ramp over the winding check.

Nice lookin’ stick Steve. What blank did you use? 9’-5 weight-4 piece is my favorite configuration, and I’ve never owned one. Go figure.
Another fine job Steve!!! When I first started reading the “Just had a little free time today…” my first thought was GEEZE!! THIS is what he can do with a “little free time”? Hate to see the rods he takes his time on! Guys like you definitely give us rookie rod builders something to aim for. Keep up the great work.
