I think is worth watching: http://vimeo.com/8410629?hd=1
Also, here is the link to the Expo site and everything that’s going on: http://www.srcexpo.com/
Starts this Friday! Hope to see many of you there.
Hi Kelly,
We’ll be there! Last year was our first year and we loved it. What a great show with a lot of great people.
We have booths #19 & #20 . Please stop by and say hello.
Jim
The Adaptive Fly Fishing Institute is sending chairman of our certification committee, Bob Stehwien, at the request of Accessible Anglers to conduct our first-ever Basic Casting Instructor certification seminar. Accessible Anglers is a local program up there that works with disabled vets through the VA hospital. Bob is an FFF Certified Master Casting Instructor and Certified Adaptive Fly Fishing Instructor, and serves on the board of directors of the institute. Those participants who successfully complete the course will be certified by the Adaptive Fly Fishing Institute as Basic Casting Instructors (BCI). We will be conducting this same course along with our other 2 new seminar-based certification programs at least 3 more times in 2010 in Arkansas and North Carolina. North Carolina is already sold out. And we’re still trying to finalize the dates for the Arkansas training camp…sometime in June or early July.
If you didn’t get a look at the link to the expo site and the video, please do so. This short vid is a great one and really gets you in the mood to get on the water. http://www.srcexpo.com/ and this cool video: http://vimeo.com/8410629?hd=1
Only a couple more days til the expo. Hope to see you there.
I was supposed to be going myself, but the Army scheduled my wife’s mid-tour leave from Iraq for 15-30 April. So Bob stepped up to go in my place. Then the Army cancelled my wife’s leave. Typical Army stuff. You roll with it. But I’m a bit bummed.
