0 weight rod help

Hey Guys,

I was wondering if anybody knows were I can pick up a rod blank that is a 0 or 00; other then sage ( I already checked out there site ).

I would also appreciate any comeback, or input on the lighter rods.

Both a friend, and I are looking for either rods, or blanks.

Does not matter if 2, or mulit piece.

They will be for fishing small perch, and creek chub.

If anyboby has one for sale, feel free to drop me a line.

Hey Chris

I have had pretty good luck watching Ebay. They have a setion under fishing called Rod Building and Repair were you can find almost anything needed to build a rod. I am currently builing a 4 pc 2 wt rod for the same purpose that you have in mind. I found some information in the rod building section here that was very helpful.

Does anyone else make a factory built 0wt? I can’t remember if I was told that sage was the only one, or if I assumed they were the only one since they make the only 0wt line that I have seen. Are there others out there manufacturing 0wt lines? Chris keep us updated on what you find, I would love to add one of these to my arsenal.

I was at the expo in Toronto a few years ago and i am pretty sure that a St.Croix rep was touting the merits of a 0wt or 1wt rod. Not 100% on this.
Also thought i remember Orvis getting in this.

Hey guys,

Dan craft has some one weights, and a 0/1wt.

I am looking into them.

Hook,and hackle also has 0 weight sage rods now.

Will keep you informed if I find something else.
