When using beadheads, if the beadhead wobbles on the
hook shank a little this is a quick way to fill in the gap.
I save little pieces of chenille. Put the bead on, attach
the thread with a few soft wraps. Then make two soft wraps
around a little bit of chenille. Then with your bodkin
push this into the gap between the hook shank and the
bead edge. This is a little faster than building up a
thread dam. Soft wraps so the thread will move up the
hook shank. ~ Richard Zieger
