Cutting Help
By Don Rolfson

While helping my wife cut out some quilting squares, I noticed that she had two cutting wheels, one of which she never used. When I enquired, she said it didn't work as well, and yes I could have it. I was also allowed to take her old straight edge (marked off in 1/8th inches) for my own stash. (Now, a word of caution. DO NOT use your wife's best cutter and straight edge. She will invariably access a 10-yard penalty and go buy 10 yards of the most expensive cloth she has ever wanted to use at the store!)

Now when I am tying gurglers or cutting chamois or anything else that works best with straight cuts, I break out these tools and go to work getting the nice even cuts that are easier to work with. ~ Don
