What do you know about Struble Hair Stackers?

The Glenn Struble Manufacturing Company is well known for its wood reel seats, but at one time also manufactured a series of special Hair Stackers. They haven’t made these in years and I seem to recall that they were over $100.00 Anyone have any info?

No, but you might look at the one Jay Smit at jvice.com sells
I bought one and really like it

They look pretty slick!

They were closed last night when I opened the thread. They just opened and said,"they stopped making them 3 years ago. Thery made stabilized burled Maple sets done as a novelty offering that retailed at $100 plus. They have no plans to make them again…unless someone wants quantities…

I bought a set last night on ebay for $21.00 and I am very pleased.

I have been turning my hair stackers from different species of wood for several years. They are similar to the ones pictured and turned by Glenn Struble Manufacturing Company. I do not sell them. Several members here on our board have lathes and could turn them easily and for far less than the price quoted. They have a good feel and work quite well.
How about it Kevin??

Denny
