Transfoamer SBS

Although rarely seen, this is a close approximation to a Wooly Bugger when it hatches. Change color/size to suit your needs. Wierd that I found this on a UK site; didn’t think they were in to foam stuff (must be a post-Brexit thing).

Nice bug … thanks for taking the time to share.

So is this a dry or a suspending streamer, Scott? Looks like it could work either way.

John,

With the bright indicator, I’m guessing it’s meant to be a dry but like you said it could be fished either way.

Scott

I’m guessing that would be killer on bream in shallow water.

Nice work Scott.

It was originally designed for Bream but it has taken many a trout too. It’s now one of our submissions to Fulling Mill. (Formerly the Foam Dragon)

Cheech,

That explains it. Thanks, again, for another cool fly.

Regards,
Scott

Yeah. They were a bit leery about working with foam, but they have nailed all the foam bugs that they are tying for us.
