I have a rod made by Paul Young that was refurbished by Bruce Summers 25 years or so ago. It is 7 feet long ,9.25 oz. , HCH. It has
" Paul (U or H) Young Co. Detroit, Mich. Maker" written just above the handle.I am trying to find out more about the rod and if there are different models or tapers that he made.I am lookiing to sell it as it has been just sitting in my closet for the last 25 years or so . I traded an old leica camera outfit for it, as my friend Glen Sheppard really wanted the camera.
Mr. Young made many different models. Ask your questions over on the Classic Fly Rod Forum. There are a number of guys over there with large PHY Rod collections and they will be able to answer all your questions.
