I wouldn’t be surprised if you could catch a few trout with those on occasion, but bream definitely.

Have you ever been fishing at Callaway. It’s affordable for most folks, 14 ft. jon boat for 1/2 day and access about $60. Pound bream a definite possibility, the last time I remember letting a fish break my line was down there several years ago. Have no idea if it was a big bass or a catfish, but it grabbed my fly and took off like the midnight train to Atlanta.
I’ve never fished there. I was born near there and my Dad worked for Callaway. This was before Callaway Gardens was built.
