Went Bowfin-fishing again. Such cool fish! Caught 15! Also caught some little Warmouth, bass, and green sunfish.
Those Bowfin have some nasty looking teeth.

Yes, and it is interesting to me that normally you don’t see the teeth. But if you push down on their “gums”, they are there! Likewise if you put your fingers in its mouth, you’d find and feel them very quickly!
Have I shared what a bowfin’s skull looks like? Their armament is impressive!

I liked the Bowfin skull photo Dave. Besides the armor it has several rows of teeth similar to a shark.
