An extension of my regular Stealth Bombers (size 6 hooks) from a while back.
This one is on a 5/0 Gamakatsu B10S; it’s about 5" overall.

My first thought is that it would be a nightmare to cast with most freshwater equipment. With the right rod it looks like a winner for Northerns

Yeah, it’s not a fly for a 6 wt.
8 wt. minimum, maybe 10.
About half my time on the water is fly fishing for pike and musky, so I’ve got enough rod for the task.
It’s a great smallmouth fly.
