Me or Mirage?

Is it me or is the Orvis Mirage fluorocarbon tippet hard to get a good knot in? I seem to lose a lot of flies when fishing with this stuff. I don’t usually buy it, but today I found myself in need of some 6X fluorocarbon tippet and neither fly shop sells SA tippet. This is the 2nd spool I’ve ever used and I recall having similar problems with the last one too.

I’ve used Orvis Mirage in the saltwater and have no problems with knots or knot failure.

Silver,

I looked and they aren’t there. My fax # is 417-335-6785. Thanks.

Mirage has a stronger wet knot strength than the super strong and i have yet to experience a problem. (Except with blood knots. The tippet is a bit slicker and tends to pull through.
