Welcome to the area! We’ve got plenty of good warmwater fishing around. If you are on the base itself there’s at least one good pond right there that I know of. Eastern Kansas has nearly every warmwater species you could want to throw a fly at, and we’re within driving distance of the few we don’t have.

Same goes for me, I live about 40 minutes south of you both, but would be happy to share info and/or a day on the water.
Same goes for me, I live about 30 minutes to the north of you and know plenty of good spots really close to you on both sides of the river. First one I can think of off the top of my head I can tell you that Guy B. Park is really good, it’s a trophy bluegill management lake on the MO side and can be a really good time when you find those big brute gills. By the way like Ladyfisher said please do check out our up coming tourney we would love to have you.
