I am looking for a bug identification chart.

And I was wondering if anyone had agood one that shows the stages of Mayflies, Caddis, and Stoneflies??? Thanks in advance. Murph.

May want to check out the Dave Hughes book, Handbook of Hatches. Not exactly small chart form, but easily carried with you.

Anotther book (smaller, tall pocket size) is Dave Hughes Western Streamside Guide. Bugs and what to use to imitate them.

Try ;

Murphlax34,

There are a series of pocket guides for fly fishing by Dr. Ron Cordes of the FFF. The two that I think refer best to your quest for a bug identification chart. The nice thing about these pocket guides is they are made out of a waterproof material and are spiral bound for easy viewing.

Give Northern Lights a call at the below phone number and order these books.

I don’t think hot links are allowed so cut and paste the above string to your browser…

It may be just what you are looking for.

Take care…
