underbody - non-tox .025
thread - Danville 6/0 rusty brown
tail - hen saddle mottled brown
rib - small wire gold (twisted)
abdomen - peacock herl
wingcase - pheasant tail
thorax - Ice Dub Hare’s Ear

Part 1

wrap front 1/3 of shank with non-tox; tie in thread, wrap to bend

strip some hen saddle fibers, measure (gap width); tie in/trim

double over wire, tie in; twist

tie in peacock; wrap to 60% mark, tie off/trim

counterwrap rib; tie off/helicopter end

Part 2

tie in pt

create thread loop; wax

insert dubbing in loop, spin, tease out with velcro stick, wrap to 1 eye width from eye; tie off/trim

pull wingcase forward

tie off/trim, whip finish, SHHAN
