[/LEFT]Have never had the pleasure of fishing a Cicada hatch, but they are a favorite fly for the Green in Utah. Lots of patterns out there if you do a quick search, some pretty simple incorporating foam (think short squat Chernobyl Ants). Youtube.com has some videos, but the a lot of the examples seem unnecessarily complicated, especially for such a specialized hatch. I ran into one once. Had not anticipated it, so wasn’t prepared. Looked in my boxes for anything even faintly close. Best I could come up with was a big dry stonefly. It worked.
