fly tying poster

i watched a tv show the other nite (covert affairs on the usa network) and saw the following poster on the wall

since i have nothing on the walls in my dedicated tying room, i decided to order one. i dont know diddly about framing posters or anything else and had it framed like this

the retired agent in the tv show was even tying on a renzetti traveler vise and had a nice tying bench setup!

I like this one, the kids never have an idea on what to get dad, maybe I’ll drop a hint. Thanks for the link.

Get you a calander titled Trout of North America. The artist is Joseph R. Tomelleri. The art work is fantastic and would make great posters.

Kewl, kewl poster, Normand! Classic (classy) framing too!!!

Watched the same show and noted the print & the vice (which I already have) - but didn’t go the extra step like Normand did to actually locate the print. Thanks for finding that Normand, I ordered both the one from the show and the “Fly Making” print #352496.

do you remember how the poster in the show was framed??

Normand, I do believe it was in a dark brown frame? I checked to see if I still had that episode on my DVR, but I had erased it. The black frame will also look good. I will most likely do mine in black.

Some beautiful paintings are done by Sarah Briston for wall hanging.
