Fishing Restrictions in Montana

As of this date several major rivers in Montana are either closed to all fishing until further notice or the hours that you can fish on them have been reduced. If you are planning a fishing trip to Montana you should check the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks to see if where you plan to fish is still open. These restrictions are the results of low water and hot water temperatures.

Thanks Gents,
We’re committed to our annual Wyoming pilgrimage in late September thru mid October. We settle into Jackson/Wilson and fish within a 100 mile radius from 3’ trickles, pocket waters and raging?? rivers. So far , as we do not hear otherwise, the waters are fishable for now. If we hear otherwise, it’ll be Wyoming Whiskey doubles for the duration.

BUT, I’d much rather be fishin !
