bass on it’s bed in Prospect Park Lake
I like that. I’ve been there many times and have watched people fish and looked at the flowers. Its a beautiful place in the park.

Great lookin’ LMB. When I lived on Greenwood Ave. in Windsor Terrace Bklyn I went fishing on the lake in Prospect Park. All I ever caught were small Pan Fish and a five or six inch LMB . But my buddy and I taught ourselves how to cast a fly rod on the lake. I moved out of Brooklyn 23 years ago, but who’s counting.
Adios
I recall my younger days when I lived about 2 blocks and around the corner from Prospect Park. The Prospect Expressway near the park was still under construction I lived on Ocean Parkway and Caton Ave near Park Circle. Back then we occassionally fished the lake but if we did manage to catch any fish they were puny. Good to see that the city has improved that aspect of the park.
Regards from a former born and bred Brooklynite.
