A little help needed

My brother passed last year and I now have all his FF equipment. He built rods and some he built are not marked as to the weight.
The ones that are finished I can put a reel with a line on and get a good idea what they are, but I am in a quandary as to how determine the weights of the ones with just a handle and the bare blanks. I have two blanks and two with handles mounted.

I also have two other blanks that are marked - one a 2wt which is complete with handle, guides and tip. (I would like to have it built for me) and one in a case with a slip of paper stating 1 wt 6 6, which I assume is a 1 wt 6’6"" blank. One of the other blanks has a piece of masking tape marked M27 - the color is like the Fenwick FF rods.

I can take and post pictures if they would be of any help.

I also have his rod building equipment - two wrapping jigs - two turners - handle files and supplies I have not gone through and cataloged.

So any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the perfect setup for you to get started building rods - I can’t help with the weights, but I’m sure someone can.

There are lots of experienced fellows here who could likely help answer your questions much better than I.
