Ed, did you see my cool picture from the weather service with the tornado over Alliance, Nebraska? Alliance (where Cary, aka the Heron, grew up) is in the very far west of Nebraska (throw a stone and it lands in Wyoming) We're in the very far EAST of Kansas. We gotta worry more about our Quivera Kid! He's out near Wichita and has far more of the whirlie winds than we do. Ours are more straight line. Sagefisher is right, counter rotation will do the trick! Broom recently restrung!! I be flying' high!!

With all due respect, I seriously doubt that okra is a gateway vegetable. Tomatoes? Yes. Cucumbers? Yes. Lettuce? Yes. Okra? Seldom.

Talk like that is why most Southern closets are full of guns and we hang on to our flags from the War for Southern Independence. What you going to make gumbo with, Brussel Sprouts? Fried broccoli just doesn't cut it with crappie filets or pork chops. Won't grow in the summer anyway.

Hey, little toady boy ... want a shiny red apple??

Ratzel-riffle-fratzle ... ... had a major computer failure this afternoon. Believe it's commonly referred to as "an issue". Blew that puppy clean out of the water!! Thank goodness, even through all the grumbling, years ago, I bought a back up system!! All was backed up, and as far as I can tell, all is functioning right. We'll see!

Swamp Witch Betty, aren't you supposed to obey the traffic laws when you're fly your broom down the street? Do the cops just give you a ticket, or do they try to impound your ride? Do you have to bail out your broom, or does it just come home on its own?
