I love to see them in spawning color like that. Nice fish.
I can tell you why....Pumpkins get too big for some of the tanks. Yes when I was a little boy I did this. Plus they eat so much more then Tropical fish eat! LOLOriginally Posted by billhouk

"Pumpkins" are beautiful and when I find them here, they are usually hugging the bank and will attack anything that comes into the water! They are fun to catch!
