I take it you mean if you were in a situation where it meant no fishing unless you did something other than flyfishing what would you do.

If I wanted to fish bad enough in that situation I would do something other than flyfishing.

I like to flyfish ....but I like to fish more.

Take it further ...dry fly or wet fly...no don't.
