I know that I'm hijacking this thread but so what? We all should give thanks to all you great guys. What we should champion is the way some guys are treated that left them with problems that are not being addressed properly. They deserve much better.
I served only a short time in the occupational forces as an 18 year old draftee at the very end of WWII but it set me up with a good life plan. Another reason to thank the military.
