Thread: What are you tying now.

    I start off each year with an inventory of my boxes....and then go to filling them back up.

    For the spring mostly classic nymphs and some nymphs which doesn't look at something but saved sometimes my fishing day.
    For example this small tiny nymph (hook #16) with a glass bead on it and some peacock hearl and madeira yarn

    I know, crappy photo. No tripod, 1 lite, no contrast. Anyhow, this is a parachute caddis by Ralph Cutter. Started with #14's, this is an 18.

    Yeah, supposedly this fly is a real cross dresser. Caddis, baetis,...we'll see.

    I'm not really tying anything. May time some pink squirrels closer to spring, but my boxes are full.

    This is nice though...

    These work great on Montana' Madison especially from 3 dollar bridge to the west fork

    Scuds in natural and hot colors for winter steels. Tubes flies but I cant keep enough materials on hand.
