I've been living in the 101 section. Although it is suggested that a 9 weight would have been better, I chose the 9 foot 8 weight TiCr-X because of the available conversion kit. Although I hope that its not the last rod I'm able to get (christmas present), I had to think as though it would be. I've been out of college 10 years with no engineering jobs to show. I guess I'm viewed as too smart to be a laborer and too inexperienced to be an engineer at this point. The question of line, leader, fly, and rod capabilities sprung from the realization that its cheapest to tie my own flies, and thats about the only money saving measure in fly fishing.
