Sorry guys,in my rush to send flies I forgot toetags, pattern etc. It's called Helgramite but looks more like a stonefly nymph to me??Trout don't seem to care, they just like it?

    Helgramite

    Hook-Tiemco 200R or substitute sz 6-12
    tail-black biots
body-black floss or sub, tapered(lead wire optional)
    gills(rib)-ostrich herl palmered
    wingcase-black turkey quill
    abdomen-red yarn
legs-a few wraps of black neck hackle, tied wet style

Good luck on your homewaters,it takes alot of east coast brookies for me as well as Great Lakes Steelhead in Ontario.

    Thumbs up

Robin, I am a self taught tier, my criteria is if it holds together for a few casts and catches a fish it is a good fly. I will leave the critiquing to others in the swap as I believe that all are equal to myself and most are better tiers than myself.

If you have a good reviews of Robins fly please post it here, if you have criticism please email or pm it to Robin.

Another thing, If you have not posted the recipe to your fly and did not put it on the toe tag please post it here

    Thanks
    Eric
