Streamer pattern

I have been lurking more than posting, but any questions I have had, have been well answered by the experienced and generous members of this board. So ... I have another question.

I am looking for the recipe for a streamer with a peacock herl body, a golden pheasant crest tail(?) two collars and a wood duck wing, maybe tied flat.

Any ideas?

Never mind I found it. It's called the Jackass. Golden Pheasant Crest tail, herl body, orange hackle throat, bronze mallard wing, brown or furnace collar on a 3x long streamer hook. Whew, I need to organize my archives better.

I have found that to be true as well. I plan to use it in northern NH next weekend unless we're blown out.

Neat fly. I just tied up a few. Love those streamers.

That pattern inspired me to create and I came up with the following. Give it a try. If it has a name already I don't know what it is.

Tied it on a:
#6 6x long streamer hook tmc300.
Thread black.
Gold tinsel tag.
GP crest tail.
Yellow floss body with small gold braid rib.
Under wing 4 strands peacock hearl just shorter than tail ontop of which is tied a small amount of white bucktail to hold the peacock up, slightly longer than tail.
Top wing GP crest with bronze mallard on top tied in close to hook shank.
Throat, orange hackle tied in beard style.
Yellow eyes with black pupil.
