Congratulations!!! I can tell you as a grandpa to six beautiful grandsons, they're a LOT more fun than your own children.

One word of caution though, they will really wear you out, especially when they're young. We were out at a nice resturant with my son and his wife and two sons ages 5 and 3. Of course as I headed for the restroom to wash my hands, they wanted to go with grandpa. As they burst into the restroom there was an older gentleman washing his hands and he remarked, "Where do they get all their energy?" Right at that moment, I figured it out; they suck it all out of their grandparents!

    Good luck and enjoy!

Congratulations Ron! BTW, I've used that pay phone next to the river at 3 rivers before and it DOES work!

CONGRATULATIONS GRANDMA AND GRANDPA TO BE. Time to start building a "1" weight! Remember - your main roles are to spoil them like crazy. And, past down all the family history and stories. I missed out on most of mine when my grandparents and parents were alive and have spent the last 50+ years searching for it; but, hearing it from them would have been so much better. Blessings to all.

    Grn Mt Man,
Does the first child get a 1-wt, the second child a 2-wt etc...? If so, Ron had better be careful about ordering any 9-wt blanks...

Ron, you are gonna love it! Congrats!

We've not yet had a chaance to meet, but I suspect your grandkids are going to love having you and VEE as grandparents too. so, I'll add on my congrats to them.

It took us about forever to become grandparents. (40 years of marriage) Wish it could have come a lot sooner! I cherish each day I get to spend with them and hope I can still be able to take one of them to a stream some day.
