I can't say about fly fishing but there's a lot of feed lots in Kansas.

Did a half dozen pink squirrels on Saturday, a few GFA Crickets on Sunday.
A good weekend - football, beer, tying flies.

I recently discovered that sometime in late fall I unknowingly lost my midge box. So, midges it is.

I just found some new craft fur from Punisher that has Krystal Flash already mixed in it. Check out this generic saltwater bait-fish Clouser I just tied with it. The picture doesn't do it justice. It has lots more flash, and the colors are brighter than in the photo.

That looks good, Gigmaster! I've been wanting to get some hot pink craft fur for my smaller Clouser patterns. Crappies have always been fond of pink-n-white!

I'm working on stocking up on #16 Sulpher Parachutes, #16 Sulpher Emergers and #16 Sulpher Spinners in preparation for a four day trip in May.
My one wish is that when I die my wife doesn't sell my fishing stuff for what I told her I paid for it...

Here is just a few flies that I am presently working on:

    Warren
Fly fishing and fly tying are two things that I do, and when I am doing them, they are the only 2 things I think about. They clear my mind.

    Darryl,

Hmmm - Where might you be going, with those afore mentioned Sulphers? I don't need to know exactly - GPS coordinates would be close enough, or an aerial photo would do in a pinch! LOL!! You can't have too many of the spent spinners, that's for sure! Tie them with hi viz poly wings and you can get 20 to 30 more minutes out of your evening fishing before you can't see the fly anymore.

    Best regards, Dave S.
