I don't think that Alba-Surf's list will be giving to ol' blues list and visa versa. I'm guessing Alba-Surf will pick names from her list until the names run out and ol' blue will do the same. That way each person's list will run out of gifters at the same time it runs out of receivers. Just a guess though.

Yeah, that's pretty much how we did it. I took names 1-14 and put them in a list 1-14 randomly. Then I wrote each of the numbers on little pieces of paper and mixed them up. Then I picked one number out of the pile and gave that person to the first name on the list, 2nd number to the second person, etc. I just made sure that no one was giving to the same person that they were receiving from, so an odd number wouldn't matter. ol' blue suggested doing it this way so that he and I could both participate without knowing who our secret santa was ahead of time.

I'm seeing it as two separate lists. AlbaSurf does her list, 14 gifters and 14 receivers. And ol' blue does his, 11 gifters and 11 receivers.

Everyone should have been given their assignments. I sent all of mine by PM, so check your inbox. If you have any questions or problems, let me know. Also, don't forget that we are all to mail our packages on December 13 so that everyone gets their package at about the same time.

Also, if for some reason you do not receive a package, please let me know. We can track down things from both ends and make sure everyone get theirs. No one will end up without a package on this!

Good point. No, I sure didn't. I guess the only real attempt I made was the common shipping date. It was assumed it would work something like that, but I didn't make a formal announcement for it.

Everyone knows to hold their presents until Christmas and not spoil it, right? RIGHT?!?....Unless you have a smelly box with fishdog54's name on it. You might have to open that one to disinfect and febreeze.

Nah, it wouldn't have been the end of the world. That person would have had to hold theirs longer 'til Christmas (or at least not told about it), but it would have been OK.
