Howdy there Coltranem very nice flies.......I betcha the pink ones will be great on cloudy days......I'd put a wager on that!
The pink ones are for the local Landlocked Salmon run. Assuming we get some rain here in the Northeast it should be starting soon. Fishing and tying those streamers were new for me so we'll see how they go..
Where abouts in the northeast are you at, i've heard from people that it's starting to pick up for maine in the mornings and evenings, trolling streamers anyway. Did really well this spring with smelt patterns.
I am a bit further south in Massachusetts. The fish run out of the Wachusett Reservoir. With the rain we are getting right now I wouldn't be surprised if they start to move out of the res in into the rivers this week.
Those are some nice looking flies, I'm sure they'll catch you some fish.
