Livingston Montana....
Snow on the mountains just outside town the past two nights. Beautiful - bring your long johns. The river is clear and fishing as well as it does at this time of the year, warm jackets and fingerless gloves. You'll be glad you did. Because the water temperatures on the Spring Creeks remains a constant 52 degrees year round there are always hatches and it's warmer. Bring the long johns anyway.

Snow in August and it was snowing over that direction in very late May when I drove through there, that's all of about three months without snow of some sort.....No wonder you're scouting for areas in Tucson for the winter!
Heading to Paradise Valley in about a week. Are there fishable creeks that feed the Yellowstone between Gardiner and Livingston that are public access?
