Thank you for the Birthday wishes. Overall, it was a good day because I helped several people in need. The wife had some out patient surgery this morning and we needed to be at the hospital at 6:45am and all went well as long as the lab tests come back on Thursday and has a good report. Also, checked on my Mom and she needed groceries, so, I got them and delivered them, took our paperwork to the tax office to get those taken care of and picked up a prescription for pain meds for the wife. I then attended our local Fly fishing club meeting this evening. Overall, a pretty full day and everyone is happy.

Enjoyed your account of fishing with the PSC today. Glad it worked for you and brought fish to hand. Sounds like it brought you some smiles, also.

I'm not aware of anyone actually using weight on this particular fly, although I know there are some similar pine squirrel streamers out there that do use weight. I personally have a strong preference to unweighted flies, and especially sculpin / baitfish style streamers.

BUT having said that, please do what you want with it - make it your own and have a good time.
