Video Camera for Fishing Trips
Looking for some guidance for a video camera to bring along on fishing trips. Some water proofing would probably be a necessity. Also, only really interested in a model that records on the standard size SD cards. We have a Sony Handycam but it records on mini discs and the drive on my laptop won't accept those.
So far I've come across the Panasonic SDR-SW20. It looks like what I'm looking for, does anyone have any experience with it or have a suggestion for something similar to recommend ?
You might want to look at the new Kodak Playsport. Water proof to 10 ft.
I did a search on the sw-20 and it seems as if it is discontinued. They have a sw-21.

Check out the link below. My wife got me the Hero waterproof camera for Christmas. I played with it at the house and was very impressed. It is basically a cheap camera in a waterproof housing that straps to your wrist or vest, and they have a helmet version, which actually makes the most sense.
