Talking Definitely Not Fly Fishing, but fun as heck!

Just some pics of what the family got to do the other night - baby black bears, what a hoot! ANyway, just thought we'd share with our FAOL family. Enjoy!

    Cathy and a new friend:

The Kid and his friend Loren with a couple of young cubs:

    Dad and the cubs:

Nothing but a dry well...but he worked on it for about half an hour:

    Bears, claws and blood, hmmm:

I think that hand will survive - no teeth yet:

    Bed time:

My big ole belly must have reminded him of momma...:

    So long for now!

Hope you all enjoyed this. We had a blast!

That's really awesome Kelly! I'm impressed there doesn't seem to be any fly material...er...I mean FUR missing from those youngsters! )

So...whats the story? These cubs have collars...are they on loan from a zoo or something?

Who said there's no fur missing...just kidding. Yep, these are captive bred bears at our local Bear park.

    Thanks Kelly,
You brought a smile. We recently lost a miniature schnauzer that used to sleep on my belly just like that cub bear.

Those are the cutest little guys I've seen but I can't take my eyes off that nice soft belly fur. Just a couple of quick passes with an electric razor and....... Bad Eight Thumbs, Very Bad! Boy those claws could redecorate your whole house in the matter of a couple of hours. Thanks for sharing some great photo's. 8T
