MI Fish -In Now International

Ontario, Canada has joined with the other 15 States so far represented at the AuSable River Fish-In!

We have around 50 signed up now and I know there are a lot of you NOT signed up yet.

Also there are 4 Fish-in Swaps running right now so get on over to "Fly Swaps" and enter a couple.

Gate's lodge is full and I have another nearby lodge that has offered a discount if we get enough to stay there. Gate's lodge has recommended a motel in town also. I have to check it out with JC&LF to see if it's ok to post.

There is a lot to do in the Grayling area for the non-fishers too. Very senic area with quaint shops & good resturants.

This Fish-In will be fantastic! A lot of great folks helping us out. Kaboom1 plans to bring his equipment to make furled leaders & there is much more "on the table", including some GOOOOD food!

I am getting excited about this, also with the swaps going on, there should be plenty of flies for everyone. If you haven't checked out the swap section we currently have #3 swaps going. the idea is to get the flies that will be hatching when the fish-in is going and have enough for everyone who is there. Even a non-fish in member is hosting a swap, what an awesome board. Thanks to tyflier and Jack for going along with my "idea".

Gates Au Sable Lodge, as of today, has only 4 rooms left for our Fish-In. They are for the 15th-20th. I would not wait if you plan on attending.

Kneff Lake is a first come first serve USFS campground. You can have up to 10 campers per site as long as you don't overcrowd it. I'm quite sure Mike and I can stake out sites prior to anyone's arrival.
