Default What I Saw While Fishing Yesterday

This little guy was right on the edge of a local lake and I rowed within aboout 8'. Mama was just over a small rise and I had lots of deep water to back away in. Mama never knew I was there.

After a little interested staring he wobbled off on very unsteady legs. It had been a beautifully sunny day and he likely was just hours old. He is a little bull calf. This is on Sand Lake in Anchorage.

    Hap-

Great shots. That head on shot makes him look like an anteater--- he'll be a big boy when he grows into that nose!

Ahh spring in Alaska. What a site to row up on. Jim
