I finally won something!!

You know how you go to those fly fishing shows and fill out all the cards, pay for all the fundraiser raffles etc...and you never win anything! Well, after doing that countless times over the past seven years, I finally won something and you could have blown me over with a feather.

I'm going to Le Reserve Beauchene near Temiskaming, Quebec. They are famous for Small Mouth Bass and big brook trout. The brookies are true "Square Tails", with 2-4 lbs the rule and fish taken frequently over 6 lbs and sometimes well over 7 lbs! They also have seven other species of fish I can go for. It's all inclusive (three nights) except the booze. I leave one day after I get back from Wa Wa Sum (AuSable). (May 23) Talk about pushing it.

Hopefully I'll have some nice fish photos when I get back.
