if John could see this (Hi John!) he would likely cry. Lovely, what a wonderful selection of fly types and styles.

Okay everyone this is John's last swap. No more "let me in on this one if I could".

My that is such a beautiful tribute to a wonderful colleague. Within a week or so of John's death I lost two good friends who were writers, one who was my sports editor. No tribute was this fine for either of those guys. Thanks Ol Blue. What an honor to be a part of your community. JGW

Or the "thanks for letting me be part of this swap" that was the customary part of each of John's posts. The swap area just won't ever be the same to me.

I'm glad you all like it. It is the combined effort of everyone who submitted the beautiful flies for this display. It is the quality flies from everyone that made this happen.

The flies were mailed to John R today via UPSP priority mail. He will make sure that the display is still in good condition (hopefully it isn't beat up), and then present it to John's family.
Thanks everyone for helping out with this.

thank you for all the hard work you did on this blue. I for one just want to give you a big KUDO'S. You put a lot of work into this and time I know John is probably smilling down at ya.

The shadow box arrived at my place yesterday. The USPS did a better job than I had feared. Two flies loose in the box and a couple that were now vertically rather than horizontally positioned. Took it apart and hot-glued them back in place. Its ready to go.

I'll get ahold of Rosemary today, hopefully. Will schedule a time to deliver to her and Bonnie.

Ol' blue - ya done good. It really looks terrific!!! I'm sure John's looking down on ya and giving ya an "atta boy" or two! Thanks for putting this all together.
