You should be OK. You got me thinking, and there are quite a few black flies and midges that will need a white background. I'll probably have to make a trip in for another box anyway.

The mailbox was full again. Received flies from cane_ru, eight thumbs, DannyGober, white43, and 10ae1203.

Default Much thanks for the update!

Glad the fly got there in time to be included in the display. Thanks again for putting this memorial together. 8T

Received flies from jdubach and vulture6 (I think).

Guys, be sure you have somethink in your package that identifies you by your FAOL screen name. That way I don't have to guess who it is from. Thanks!
I'm going to keep things open until the end of the week since we have just barely over half our entries in so far. If you fly isn't in by Friday the 6th, I'm going to have to declare you a no-show and put the display together with what I have received at that point.

Also, I'm worried about how the good ol' USPS is going to abuse my package on the way there, so I've arranged to mail the display to JohnR who will make sure everything is still in good order, then deliver our tribute to John in person to his family. I would expect the flies to ship out on March 9 at the latest.

We'll do an embellished deciever. John was one of the most active. He will be missed.

Greg - that should have been mine - a black bunny fur cone head slug/leech (a great smallmouth fly BTW)... thought I put my handle on the toe tag. Usually I put in a label with the box and write it on the outside of the envelope, but since this wasn't a "return" swap I guess I got a little sloppy with the details.

    Thanks for doing this.
