This will be my last post on this thread. I'm going to continue posting regularly on my fishing outings, and maybe some hikes, but they will be under a new thread titled " '09 Elkhorn Bamboo Challenge."

I've certainly enjoyed creating this thread and several others on this Forum over the course of '08, sharing some good times and beautiful places with you all, and participating in the discussions they generated on a variety of subjects.

Hope you all enjoy going along on my '09 outings.

You've done well with your travelogues, as well as other posts John. I'm looking forward to your new threads and the pictures. It's especially interesting to me, that you subjects are also in my back yard, even though I haven't taken advantage of them like I should have when I was young and viceferous. I still stumble around your haunts a bit, and hope to stumble into you on the stream someday. I still think we need to get you into a pontoon, and open up a whole new world of new toys and flies and accessories that you can spend your children's inheritance on. Keep on strokin'. Lew
