    Default Bassman's Fly Tying Class

This past Monday was the last day of our 6 week fly tying class. I guess I passed... got a certificate anyway. It was a blast! I'm addict... errrr... I think I might tie some more. (OK, I already joined a swap and turned my flies in.)

Just thought I'd say publicly - John is a terrific teacher. We learned a lot. Had a lot of fun. Made some new friends. Made a bunch of flies. Thanks bassman!

Here's a photo of bassman with two of his students, my lovely wife being the one on the right.

John, you're putting me to shame!!
Trouts don't live in ugly places.

A friend is not who knows you the longest, but the one who came and never left your side.

Don't look back, we ain't goin' that way.

Ok John You had to sneek that pic in didn't you. I am not usually that organized Betty, only for the classes. I also would like to meet you some time Bob. We did have some real nice classes. But what made them reel good was great students. John
I wish you all everlasting flies and tight lines.

Betty: I've seen his desk at home too... yes, its organized. (Note: I was afraid to open the drawers and cabinets though.)

Bob: c'mon down. We'll be glad to visit, tie a few flies, or even get out and try some on a few trout.

John: Me? Sneak one in on ya? (Where's the smilie with the halo and innocent look??)

I really do try to keep things around my desk neat, but if you do open the drawers around it any thing and everything will spring out at you. I even have to keep most of my reel collections in boxes as I do not have room for most of them. I agree with John, if you can ever make our way Bob, you would be most welcome and I am sure we could find some trout with all the waters we have in our area. John
I wish you all everlasting flies and tight lines.

John's organized alright. Just join one of his tying swaps. His one of the best swapmiesters you'll find anywhere on the planet. His flies are first rate too.
