Can anybody shed some light on what this might be? September, Gallatin River, Montana.

    Green drake? Grey drake?

Too bad the lighting isn't better.

    Any help would be great!

    SquatchHunter-

I believe your mayfly to be a female Ameletus subimago, commonly referred to as a Brown Dun. There are at least (11) Ameletus species known in Montana, many of which are not described in flyfishing entomology literature.
