floyd, didn't see your post as i just posted this same question myself. let me know if you find anything. i have a guy on another forum who says he has the recipe at home and will get it to me this evening. i'll let you know what i find out.

Lets try this

Hook: your favorite curved scud hook
Tail: dun colored krinkled zlon or equivalent
Rib: green or black wire
Body: green flash (krystal flash, flashabou or equivalent)
Wingcase: it appears theres something up there but without a top view who knows. use your imagination
Thorax: olive gray dubbing
Bead: black or gun metal gray

That's s nice looking fly and a pretty good interpretation of the O*v*s pattern. I notice that the O*v*s web site gives a picture of the Green Goblin but no recipe. I believe that I'm going to tie up half a dozen #16s and half a dozen #18s and maybe a couple of #20s. Thanks for your help. 8T
