Default Deerhair Swap is now full

I'm just trying to see if a deerhair swap would be of interest. Deerhair, spun or stacked. Hook let's say size2 or larger. Six tyers max. Due date the end of Feb. to give time for some real fun at the bench. Also would give time to get out the videos and brush up our techniques. We could have a sign up deadline of Dec15th. Then 2and1/2 monthes to pull out all the stops and create the best work possible. Also maybe we could swap ideas, and help each other as the swap progresses. Then to end the swap we could vote on who's was the best. I'd be willing to order a 6 by 8 patch of hair from Whitetail for the winner. Hopefully we could get some pictures to post when we are done. Looks the swap is a go. Here's who I have signed on

Still need one more swapper. The due date is Feb.28th. Lot's of time to have some real fun at the bench. Take your time deciding what to tie. Please let me know what you will be tying, when you decide.
I'll get my address added soon. Be sure to include return postage and label with your creations.

I'd certainly consider playing along. love spinning hair.

I don't think it's necessary to decide best in show though...

If you are talking about a fly using deer hair (I tie a pretty nice Zoo Cougar), then I'm in for that. I've never tied a complete deer hair fly like a mouse pattern or full frog, though. I'd have to think about that one, and take a class with Chris Helm before doing it. If it's the former, sign me up for the Zoo Cougar. No awards necessary, I just enjoy tying.

Count me in for this one, I'll tie some sort of spun hair creation. I've been playing around spinning hair on pike flys, but can scale something down abit if pike patterns are too large for everybody.

Maybe a mouse pattern but maybe something multicolored. Either way it will be some great practice spinning hair for me.

It's been a while since I've seen a swap thread hijacked. You're quite the salesman, ducksterman!
