God speed and God bless Al. My thoughts and prayers are with his family both at home and here on-line in FAOL.

I never had the opportunity to meet Al, but I have learned a lot from him. I am honored to have one of his flies that I framed hanging over my tying bench.

My sympathies to his family and close personal friends. I know he will be missed by all.

In this world Rivers are our windows into Heaven.

I will always look around the next bend into the lifting fog hoping to catch a glimpse of you.

Your destiny has been fulfilled my friend...

Wait for me until I get there and look over me while I am here.

    You will be missed.

God bless you Al. We will truly miss you. But you have moved on to the ultimate fishing waters now. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends.

First Poul Jorgenson now Al Campbell. Two serious blows for the fly tying community in 6 months.
Al may you fish with the big guy in paradise and God bless you on your next journey.

Al taught me how to tie flies and introduced me to my favorite crappie fly "crappie candy" and my favorite trout fly "shwapf." We will all miss you and i am glad to hear that you are out of the awful pain.

Bye, Al. Keep the light on for us and the heavenly gates open. We'll meet someday.

I'm sad for us and for his family. May his generosity in sharing his wisdom propel us to do the same. In loving this sport, we can't help but love the waters we fish. And when we care for them we care for everyone.
